Mølllen: The Danish Museum
of Science & Technology
Danmarks Tekniske Museum is relocating from Helsingør to Svanemølleværket in Nordhavn and rebranding to reflect Denmark’s high-tech identity. Renamed Mølllen, a nod to Møllen (“the mill”) and the building’s three chimneys, the identity balances meaning with readability. Sleek typography and abstract forms reference Danish design while symbolizing the evolution of science, technology, and the building’s architecture.
